A Meaningful Milestone
Dr. Elizabeth Lopez, founder of NextLevel Mujeres, has completed the Level 2 Life, Leadership, & Executive Coach program through the Institute for Coaching Excellence (IFCE) as a member of its Spring 2026 cohort. The 135-hour program provides advanced coach education grounded in the ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethics and includes opportunities for peer coaching, mentor coaching, and continued development of a coaching practice.
For Dr. Lopez, completing the program represents more than another professional development milestone. It reflects the continued development of the coaching practice she is building through NextLevel Mujeres and her commitment to growing alongside the work.
Continuing the Journey
When Dr. Lopez began developing NextLevel Mujeres, coaching became an important part of the vision for the practice. Her continued education has been part of intentionally building that work. The IFCE program provided an opportunity to deepen her coaching knowledge and practice alongside other coaches, while receiving feedback, participating in peer coaching, engaging in mentor coaching, and reflecting on her own approach to the work.
The experience also created space to consider what it means to continue developing as a coach while building a practice centered on the client experience. That work is reflected in the approach of NextLevel Mujeres, where Dr. Lopez partners with Latina professionals and emerging leaders to gain clarity, build confidence, strengthen self-advocacy, and lead authentically. While NextLevel Mujeres centers the experiences of Latina professionals, coaching is available to anyone who connects with the work and is looking for support in their career or leadership journey.
Completing the program represents more than another professional development milestone for Dr. Lopez. It reflects her commitment to continuing to learn, practice, and grow as a coach while intentionally developing the coaching practice at the heart of NextLevel Mujeres. For her, continued professional development is part of the responsibility that comes with doing this work.
What Comes Next
The next step for Dr. Lopez is pursuing the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential. As she continues to build her coaching experience, she plans to work toward the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential.
This is another step in the continued development of NextLevel Mujeres and in creating the kind of coaching practice that reflects the values and purpose behind the work.
