Why I Created NextLevel Mujeres™
NextLevel Mujeres™ was created from a deep understanding that leadership is not one-size-fits-all. Too often, traditional leadership models overlook the role of identity, culture, and lived experience in shaping how we lead.
As a Latina leader, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges of navigating spaces where representation is limited and expectations are often undefined. I also recognize the strength, resilience, and perspective that come from those experiences.
NextLevel Mujeres was built to create space for that reality and to support Latinas in developing leadership skills that are not only effective, but also authentic to who they are.
The NextLevel Mujeres Way™
As my work evolved through leadership, education, coaching, and research, I recognized the need for a leadership development approach that honored both leadership research and the lived experiences of Latina professionals. That vision led to the creation of The NextLevel Mujeres Way™.
The NextLevel Mujeres Way™ is a leadership development framework informed by leadership research and grounded in the lived experiences of Latina professionals. It reflects our commitment to helping Latina professionals develop with intention while honoring their unique leadership journeys.

Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, we support leaders in developing with greater clarity, confidence, and authenticity while honoring their lived experiences, values, and aspirations.

Dr. Elizabeth Lopez is the Founder of NextLevel Mujeres™, leadership educator, coach, and researcher whose work is dedicated to advancing leadership development for Latina professionals.
Her work bridges leadership research, education, coaching, and practice to help individuals and organizations cultivate intentional leadership.
Through NextLevel Mujeres, Dr. Lopez partners with emerging and experienced leaders to build confidence, strengthen leadership capacity, and create meaningful impact.
