Why I Created NextLevel Mujeres

NextLevel Mujeres was created from a deep understanding that leadership is not one-size-fits-all. Too often, traditional leadership models overlook the role of identity, culture, and lived experience in shaping how we lead.

As a Latina leader, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges of navigating spaces where representation is limited and expectations are often undefined. I also recognize the strength, resilience, and perspective that come from those experiences.

NextLevel Mujeres was built to create space for that reality and to support Latinas in developing leadership skills that are not only effective, but also authentic to who they are.

Our work is grounded in client-centered coaching and culturally responsive leadership development. We focus on helping you build clarity, strengthen your leadership voice, and navigate challenges with intention.

Meet Dr. Elizabeth Lopez

Dr. Elizabeth Lopez is a leadership expert, coach, and founder of NextLevel Mujeres, holding both a Ph.D. and M.S. in Organizational Leadership. She brings over 18 years of experience in leadership, operations, and program development across nonprofit and professional environments, including work in higher education.

Her work centers on supporting individuals and organizations through leadership development, operational excellence, and people-centered practices.

Through NextLevel Mujeres, Dr. Lopez partners with emerging and experienced leaders to build confidence, strengthen leadership capacity, and create meaningful impact.
