Why I Created NextLevel Mujeres™

Throughout my own leadership journey, I saw how often talented Latina professionals were navigating spaces where representation was limited, expectations were not always clear, and their identity and lived experiences were rarely reflected in traditional approaches to leadership development.

I understood that experience personally. I also saw the strength, resilience, and perspective Latinas brought into those same spaces. Those experiences shaped my belief that who we are matters in how we lead.

I created NextLevel Mujeres to provide a space that centers the experiences of Latina professionals and emerging leaders while supporting them in gaining clarity, building confidence, strengthening their self-advocacy, and leading authentically.

The NextLevel Mujeres Way™

As my work evolved through leadership, education, coaching, and research, I recognized the need for a leadership development approach that honored both leadership research and the lived experiences of Latina professionals. That vision led to the creation of The NextLevel Mujeres Way™.

The NextLevel Mujeres Way™ is a leadership development framework centered on Clarity, Confidence, Self-Advocacy, and Leading Authentically. It reflects our commitment to supporting Latina professionals in their leadership development while recognizing that who you are, your lived experiences, and your values shape how you lead.

Our Approach

At NextLevel Mujeres, we believe growth is personal and shaped by who you are, your lived experiences, values, goals, and the context you're navigating.

In coaching, we create space for you to pause, reflect, explore different perspectives, and find the answers that are right for you. In leadership development, we combine leadership research with an understanding of lived experience to create intentional development that strengthens leaders within their organizations.

Across our work, our approach is grounded in partnership, reflection, and intentional development that recognizes who you are and what you bring to the experience.

Meet Dr. Elizabeth Lopez

Dr. Elizabeth Lopez is the Founder of NextLevel Mujeres™, a coach, leadership educator, researcher, and college instructor with nearly two decades of professional experience and more than 15 years in leadership.

A first-generation college graduate, Dr. Lopez earned her PhD in Leadership Studies after a nontraditional educational journey that began as a young mother. Her professional career has included leading teams and programs, developing leaders, teaching college students, and serving her community through nonprofit and professional organizations.

Her experiences across leadership, education, and community service continue to inform the perspective she brings to her work today.
